    She barely survived the last election. Her and George Soros just want to hang onto the little bit of power that they got right to the very end…. You got to feel sorry for these sorts of people really, if they are this desperate for power. Just retire and play golf, already! You are rich enough why do you need even more money!? Oh, right I forgot…[Read more]

    Want to show a welcome message to logged out users only?
    There are a few ways you can do this but the easier ways are:

    Embedding this code into your theme in the place you want the message to display and using this code:

    <?php

    if ( is_user_logged_in() ) {

    echo ”;

    } else {

    echo ‘Welcome, visitor! Why Not sign…

    Here is an easy way in wordpress to add a class to the body element which you can then use to alter your design if wordpress is using a sidebar or not

    Simply add the following code to your theme function.php which will check to see if sidebar is active and if it is then it will add the class has-sidebar to the body.

    add_filter( ‘body_class’,…[Read more]

    Here is how I am adding custom jquery to a wordpress theme I am currently developing.. in other words how I am making an inbox in the header show on click and then disappear when you click on something else.

    First I had to call the jquery script in the foot.php of my wordpress theme (you want it being the last thing loaded)

    I imported it…[Read more]

    Who the hell does president Obama think he is coming all the way from America just to tell us.. no wait threaten us not to leave the EU! I think that it is a bit rich for someone from the so called “democrat” party to come here and tell us what to do when we go out and vote not only that it is extremely hypercritical of Obama to say that we should…[Read more]

    Here is a good if statement for echoing out the number of notifications a user has in buddypress and IF the count is 0 then nothing is displayed. This is useful for adding to your header.php as a kind of bubble that can appear next to an icon or something linking to your notifications page to let users know that they have a new notification just…[Read more]

    • Another useful piece of buddypress code would be

      <?php echo bp_core_get_userlink( bp_loggedin_user_id() ); ?>

      which will display not only the currently logged in users name but also will make it a link to the users profile page.

    Stackoverflow/stack exchange is absolutely appalling! If you have a complex and difficult programming question don’t bother going to that site.. because if it your question isn’t something like “How do you echo out hello world?” then you aren’t going to get any answers! Although to be fair I don’t really understand peoples motivation to give…[Read more]

    George Osbourne and David Cameron are showing their true globalist/big business colors as they try to bully us all into voting to stay in the EU! The fear campaign that the stay campaign is using to try and brainwash us all into thinking that we are better in the eu and if we leave then the uncertainty will cause us to be worse ff is utter garbage…[Read more]

    Here is a quick trick for menus I have just found out (trust me to be doing it the super hard way for all this time). Basically you don’t need top and bottom padding when aligning text all you need to do is set the line height. For example If you are struggling to get your links in your menu centered vertically because you cannot calculate the…[Read more]
