So I’m off to a family wedding very soon and I am feeling very pasty white…

So folks, what’s the best (but not too expensive ) tanning cream to buy?

I used to use St Tropez but it’s not the cheapest but it does go on nicely and lasts ages, but I have been using the St Moritz everyday gradual tanning cream it’s only about £4 and I am quite impressed with it so I went and bought the tanning mouse which has a much darker effect and it was just as good, savers shops and tesco sell the range, my tips are use exfoliate whole body I put a light moisturiser on my elbows knees, hands and feet then definitely use a tanning mitt they are about £1 in savers best thing ever invented for fake tan.

If I were you I would go for an gradual everyday cream to start as the effect is more subtle then once you get braver go for the one application tanning cream or mouse as the sudden dark effect can be a bit much if your not used to it.

I don’t think you can beat Superdrug’s Solait brand – I use started using it as it’s cruelty free, but it’s just as good as St Tropez/St Moritz.

I use their gradual every day tanning lotion & their fake tan 🙂

Dove moisturizer with the tanning lotion in, just apply as you would a body cream and let it soak in a bit. I find it easier than actual cream as less prone to going patchy when you dressed. It builds up over time.

I second the St Moritz. As a whiter than Casper the ghost, Geordie girl, I’ve had to learn which is the best fake tan! 😀 (Please don’t think I’m Geordie Shore though!!)

The medium in colour is best if you’re not an expert as it is very forgiving and you can build to colour up. I just go straight for the dark for the above reasons!

Bondi Sands tanning mousse! I use a tanning mitt and I don’t get patchy and it smells lush and lasts a good few days. Can get it from superdrug and boots
