The Gazans have lived in their own self governing area since Oslo over 20 years ago. Israel has no claim on the territory. All that Israelis want is for the Gazans to get out of their lives. As a result Israel has established controls over import to Gaza. Most any thing can go in but has to be checked. Only weapons are not allowed (reasonably) and dual use items, like cement, have to be checked to make sure they have a proper end use.
Hamas runs a theocratic Jew hating regime that constantly attacks Israel. Suicide bombers, rockets, attack tunnels, mass riots to breach the fence. This is self destructive behaviour. Two Fridays ago a Gazan mob attacked their own side of the crossing to Israel. They returned last Friday. They blew up the gas line and the freight conveyor belt. As a result vitally needed gas cannot enter Gaza. Nor can regular supplies. Only a few trucks with essential medical supplies can now get through.
This is not the first such thing. In the last Gazan war they aimed rockets at the Ashkelon power station that supplied THEM with half their electricity. They failed but took out two of the 9 power lines into Gaza. And then attacked the Israeli electricity company workers who came to fix them.
When the final settlements were evacuated about ten years ago, Israel left a complex of greenhouses and irrigation systems that could be used by the Gazans. They were immediately stripped and made useless.
This is a culture very different from mine and yours. Where becoming a victim or a martyr is a success. I have no idea how this is going to be resolved.
It isn’t a winning strategy in the long term, though – whatever you do in European Roulette you will tend towards losing an average of 1/37th of the total amount you wager, the house edge is built in. (1/74th for French Roulette, 1/19th for American Roulette with the 0 and 00).
@mark1 I’ve always felt that physical roulette (rather than online) is winnable, but I don’t think I could do the level of analysis required to win. You only need a small advantage (and a large pot) to overcome the house edge.
A lot of wheels are biased, so certain numbers or sectors are more probable than 1/37th. Also, a lot of croupiers are not random, so based on the point of release, certain sectors will be more probable. But for biased wheels, you need to analyse thousands of throws. And for autopilot croupiers, you would need to analyse and react very quickly and apparently innocently.
Isn’t this normally a resistor failure ?

@gary yes thanks, that video helped me a lot. i think that may have been the initial problem with only blowing on max, but didn’t fix- something else caused total failure.
I then focused on the heater control panel as suggested and measured voltages there- still nothing getting through.
so it had to be the ignition, right?
and it was!! I’ve just connected a wire between red and yellow from ignition at the fusebox and it now blows like a beauty! no more fogged screens. thanks all
Headspace is great – it is a mindfulness app available online, where the guy has THE most amazing voice which is totally hypnotic 🙂 Other than that, when I am having trouble getting to sleep I do the ‘mind lists’ thing where I list for example a country beginning with each letter of the alphabet etc…. I am currently on 4 girls names and 4 boys names of each letter of the alphabet.
@tom thanks for your detailed response. i actually tried looking for the ‘blower fan controller’ as per http://www.autoinsider.co.uk/problems/problem-10641-citroen-xsara-blower-speed-control-module.php earlier today but couldn’t find it and no reference to one in haynes electrical section..
so ignition hack may not work?
edit: above link not my car so maybe picasso hasn’t got one or do you mean the rotary speed control on the dash?
ps, hope the mouse that took up residence in my car at about the same time had nothing to do with it;)
If they’d advertised it on a white kid (which they did do incidentally but the press didn’t report that) nobody would have complained and black kids’ parents could have chosen whether to buy it or not. They were trying to not discriminate about using a white model or black model and suddenly they are accused of racism when in fact they are the polar opposite. Can you imagine the uproar if they’d turned the kid down for advertising because he was black and the clothing had the word monkey on it?
